SpaceX (ticker SPCX ) began trading on Nasdaq on 12 June 2026 at an IPO price of $135, closing its first session at $160.95 โ a debut that valued the company at roughly $2.1 trillion. ARK Invest bought on day one.
By ARK's first daily disclosure showing the position, on 18 June, the funds held 3,244,298 shares worth $622.3 million spread across four ETFs. As of the most recent file, that has grown to 4,931,930 shares worth $694.7 million .
Shares held are up roughly 52% . Market value is up only 12% . That gap is the whole story: ARK has been buying into weakness.
